Archiac lies between Cognac and Jonzac. Here you will find the new museum "Maison de la Vigne et des Saveurs" about wine and taste. We also enjoyed a visit to the cooperage Allary that exports barrels worldwide. (by appointment only 05 46 49 14 59)
Pons is situated in the north of the Haute-Saintonge region along the N137 from where you can already see the Donjon. Children also like the "Château des Enigmes" (treasure hunt in the castle).
